Fundraising and
Sponsorship
Our Mission
As a Community Amateur Sports Club we rely on the generosity of others to provide football opportunities in line with our ethos. These opportunities include a centre where players can meet, funding for kit and administrative costs.
Our central effort lies in developing our new site, White Rose Park, following our success in raising the £80,000 that has helped fund the facility. This project will serve the teams, the community and the club for years to come.
Be a Sponsor
We welcome individual, corporate and local business sponsors. In return, the club offers the chance for:

Bishopthorpe White Rose Pontoon 2021/22 Season
As the 2020/21 season comes to an end, we would like to say a big thank you to our 60 Pontoon entrants, who have helped us to raise over £660 for Bishopthorpe White Rose.
As the club moves into its new White Rose Park home, fundraising is as important as ever. Such a fantastic facility doesn’t come without running costs.
So, we would like to urge as many people as possible to sign up for next season’s Bishopthorpe White Rose Pontoon. Please also try to encourage others to take part as well.
The Pontoon is effectively a weekly lottery, which uses the number of goals scored by teams to determine the winner. Entrants are allocated a team for each game and the game finishes when one or more teams reach exactly 11 goals. On average, each game lasts for four weeks, which would result in prize money and profit of around £100 per game (£1,000 per season), if we have 100 entrants.
Entry for the full season (40 weeks) costs just £20 and 50% of the entry money is given away in prizes. Entrants are kept up to date with regular emails (team allocation lists, weekly leaderboards, winner notifications etc).
If you would like to be added to the list of entrants or would like more information, please email ian.tyssen@hotmail.com
Payment options for the entry fees are as follows ...
Cash or Cheque, payable to Ian Tyssen, 84 Keble Park North, Bishopthorpe, York, YO23 2SX
PayPal link https://www.paypal.me/IanTyssen
Bank transfer to account 00088854 sort code 309999
Hopefully, we will have an increased number of entries for the 2021/22 season, give away even bigger prizes and raise more valuable funds for our football club.
Thank you for your support.
